Merre

Hi there Diamond Glamor Girls;

Is Mary, Merry, and Merrie the same word? I when I was a child and I thought like a child I grew up speaking lots of languages. A little, Italian, a little French, a little Japanese as I became older and studied.

However, the main language I was taught to speak at home was Spanish and English. Sometimes at school I would have to ask for an interperter. A person who would translate the language being spoken into the language I could understand. It's a little like attending church with in Latin. In catholicism the priest can speak Latin. It was a universal language. However, as a child I was really upset I didn't understand a word he was speaking. Then I received a book that had his spoken words printed in a language I could understand. I would think it would be like traveling to Korea and not understanding. One behaves in ways that are unpredictable trying to understand.

Now for foreigners in the United States, where English is spoken. I understand the difficulty of the language. Mary, Marry and Margie are all pronounced the same. Yet have different meanings.

What is it that we Americans don't understand and we take for granted. Our English is even different from the English spoken in England. Respect was the only universal language. Respect of what?

I encourage you to make your own list!

  1. Country
  2. Language
  3. Lifestyle
  4. Money
  5. Sex
  6. Race
  7. Creed
  8. If you don't understand then quietly leave the country and back to a place you understand.

Statistics

Hi there Diamond Glamour Girls;

Merry Christmas!

I am a statistic now so I have been told. I was entering a masters program and just after a divorce having someone say that to you is heartbreaking. "A statistic" no longer a part of the elite group of Christians married, battling life to see who can stay married the longest. Who understands the definition of that better than a woman raised by a dad who raised here reading the bible? What? Yes, some of the most competitive woman and men I have met are bible tooting, bible reading, fear of God Christians. Oach! What pain. It took a while to understand. I had to get over myself.

Have you ever heard of the concept of one. I think that the professor was talking about the concept of one. To fully understand a subject you become it. Statistics are one of those subject that are foreign. Like a foreign one has to submerged oneself in understanding to grasp it.

When I look at the statistics for the blogs I feel like I am learning a foreign language and divorce and ones personal life has nothing to do with it. I check my blog daily understanding how important statistics are in my ability to get paid. A paychecks. Money in order to eat and pay rent.

Green Map

Did my statistics new readers? Did it have a consistent readership. If anyone has a blogpost,  then you have a concept of a green world map. Did any new country learn of my name? Staying positive in a world with so many thoughts of what is acceptable of woman and now throw on the statistics of my personal life, we'll it leaves little to be desired. Flys, to numerous to count. How many countries battle  statistics for their woman, children,  families? It's a pleague.

Back to the challenge of learning and understanding I am just one woman, one voice, one candle, one statistic...

Visit Canada and Celebrate 150 Years

Hi there, Diamond Gamour Girls;

There are so many places to visit in this great country's. From cold activities to like local shopping to cold activities.

Why am I writing a blog about Canada? It's not everyday that a country celebrates a hundred and fifty years. Everyone want to plan an event so I though I would plan a vacation.

Let's discuss dates:

1.  What dates do you want to attended?

2. What is our budget?

3. Let's start planning...

4. How many people attending,

5. What type of app shall we use? Hotel app? Flight app? Yelp for local restaurants? Shall we start with old school paper and pencil writing things down?  What else do you think we will need?

6. What app will help us in case an emergency?

Now we are ready, let's start. Let's plan for a family of five.  (All prices are estimates, therefore subject to change.)

1.  Flight :   $205.00 x 5

2. Hotel:     135.00/ night

3. Food:      $127.00/person / week

4.  Clothing:   What you need?

5. Car Rental:  $40-50 /day or $1000-1200 / week for RV rental

6. Misc needs.

The amount varies due to personal preference of families.. This is what makes it difficult in event planning as well. We can start to plan an event however each event has to be personalize due to the individual needs of the client.

Have fun vacation to Cananda.
