30 Day October Challenge - Day 9 Throwback Thursday

Hi there, Diamond Glamour Girls,

Remember a time when you thought all meeting and event planners did was go shopping? I started this blog then. To take away some of the myths my people have about employment.
 It was a time of innocence . I would say you beloved in fairy tales, Prince, princesses crowns and teirras were a blessing.
 You assumed that if you purchased a white punkin you would have a fairytale wedding. You would get married and all Your dreams would come true. Then the reality hit. You stopped praying and when you stopped how many others stopped? You wanted me to pray for you. Did you stop and pray for me? You wanted!
 Those strong hands you see on the bible are my son's. Dustin Kamon September - November 12, 2014. He prayed about everything he did. Trying to make the right choice, Hearing your request makes a man feel very human. Overwhelmed and lacking world experience he felt overwhelmed at times. Non the less he continued with the struggles of daily living. Finishing school, then trying to financially support himself. He's family was struggling with all the demands of your request.
 One day he was walking along the beach and he saw his Footprints on the beach. You wanted those too. He stopped and wrote things on the beach stones you sold them at Nordstroms for big money. When will it stop he asked? When? Stop. I am but one person and I can't stand hearing your request for money, possessions, clothing. For the first time he thought "What are you providing for me? Food? Clothing? Sheltered, House, Employment. What have you given me?
Now, he's gone so you thought you'd ask his mother. He was the one carrying my wedding roses, they were white a symbol for purity at the time. That is what woman were told to do. Stay pure or a man will not want to marry you we were told. Now that marriage to my high school sweetheart is gone. You still request from me. Now my answer to you is the same as your questions. same request you put before my son. Hear how you sound before him that you would cause such devestion in my personal life's. Now I set devastation free that you might see what it looks like. With blessings come responsibility and with responsibility comes maturity. May you get what you give.

MEN OF INTEGRITY (PART 6)

 Hi there, Diamond Glamour Girls;

Last time we peeked in on Love and B we realized they were in the beginning of discovering what true integrity is.  For some it is the beginning of a change in their being so profound it supersedes all else. True integrity goes beyond the bounds of marriage and into the individual beings beliefs.  It is not just for men it affects men and women.  Men are held to a higher standard, because that is what the bible says.  However, women are held to a high standard of integrity. Both sexes are seen as having an accountability before God.  As individuals and as a couple.  Communication is the key to a good relationship, along with "Love".  The most important is GRACE.  We are imperfect people, no one can meet the high standards set before without understanding and help from others and each other.

Love was rather quite on the way home. B was feeling a little overwhelmed.  They both felt they had integrity, however that talk they were left insecure.

Love finally broke the silence.  B want did you think about what Pastor B said in his talk? Rather intense, right?

B:  I thought we were pretty good about integrity.  I mean we don't cheat, drink alcohol, do drugs.  We have friends were honest, we don't steal. His integrity in incorruptible. The Titus scripture is an interesting one.  What do you think?  I think when we get home I will look it up the word integrity to know what it means in the English language.

Love:  I think it was rather intense, something I definitely have to keep trying to strive for.  Something we all need help achieving. It is letting our YESES, be YES and our NO be NO!

B: I understand that but sometimes when I am with you and my girlfriends and you guys want to do something.  You ask me and ask me until I am beat down and can't say NO anymore. That means we have to accept the first No people say as NO.

In that time we they both arrived home.  B went straight for the dictionary. She looked it up in several visions. Love listen to this...Integrity
1.  a firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values incorruptibility.
2.  an unpaired condition
3.  the quality or stat of being complete or undivided
Okay I feel better.  Not like I thought but not as difficult as I thought.  The problem I see is getting people to understand my No's mean NO.  What do you think?  Love, looked and B gave her a big hug and said, I can help with that.

With that thought they both felt better about their meeting with Pastor B.  She knew he battled some of the same problems in life.  They both were on the same path trying to get people to realize they may be young but they were striving for integrity that only they two knew.  The trust grew a little more.

Men's Wedding ( ? Honey, Do we hire a wedding planner or coordinator?)

Hi there, Diamond Glamour Girls;

Ad imageBefore I started writing this I was listen to music, in the song I was listen to it was talking about  the things a man thinks about before he decides to get married.  In the song it talks about how he thinks about him mother, he thinks about the women in his life.  He does a mental inventory of the women he has dated.  But when it comes down to it he marries someone like one of the women he know or grew up with.  It might be his mother, it might be his sister, but either way it is finding a women that comforts him like in his youth.  He usually also knows the difference between a virtuous women (Proverbs 31:10-22) and one who is not.

Wedding Prayer
written by Robert Lois Stevenson

Lord, behold our family here assembled.
We thank you for this place in which we dwell,
for the love that unites us,
for the peace accorded us this day,
for the hope with which we expect the morrow,
for the health, the work, the food,
and the bright skies that make our lives delightful;
                                                                                                                                                                                                                for our friends in all parts of the earth.

I know that if a man can figures out what type of women they want to marry prior to asking the women, they also feel a sense of panic when that women turns into a bridezilla.  "Bridezilla"defined as: a woman planning a wedding overwhelmed with the decision making process, finances and everyone demanding a piece of her, her time, her money, most of all her attention.  As a cooping skill she can react in a negative way with those around her.  The panic within him make him question why he asked her to marry him in the first place.  It amazes me how many men question their whole relationship while planning their wedding.

Both male and female feel the same types of stress during the wedding planning process.  The both lash out in different ways.  Each person knows what they can handle, but only walking through the process do they become stronger.  There is no person that can teach us how to control our emotions, our being as much as there is a knowing that we will get through it all together.  During the wedding process grooms need as much assurance as the brides do.

The role of a wedding planner/coordinator is to ease some of the decision making process.  It is to assist them both to make the process better.  I often get asked what is the difference between a wedding planner and a wedding coordinator.

Planner:
a: a method for achieving an end
b: an often customary method of doing something : procedure c: a detailed formulation of a program of action
 d: goal, aim
Coordinator:
1a: equal in rank, quality, or significance
 b: being of equal rank in a sentence <coordinate clauses>
2: relating to or marked by coordination
3a: being a university that awards degrees to men and women taught usually by the same faculty but attending separate classes often on separate campuses
 b: being one of the colleges and especially the women's branch of a coordinate university
4: of, relating to, or being a system of indexing by two or more terms so that documents may be retrieved through the intersection of index terms
 If you were to compare it to a football team.  The wedding planner would be the coach.  The coordinator would be the quarterback or the defense back.  If you look at if from a "band directors" point of view.  It is the difference between the drum major who call the songs that will be played and a member of the band calling the songs.  Who leads your wedding is important to you.  Choosing a professional will make or break your wedding.  Be smart and education yourself on what exactly you want assistance on before hiring and ease your stress during this season in your life.
 The saddest part about writing this blog, is realizing there are not allot of positive images of men and marriage.  If you look up Woman's Wedding Day you find all kinds of images, that relate to the happy occasion, but if you look up Men's Wedding Day, there are lots of the same images.  Woman for the most part try their hardest to think wonderful thoughts about the man they are about to marry.  Positive images help that thought.  We idealize about how wonderful you are even if it's not true.  We know that you are not perfect, like we are not, but we hope for the best and place images of how great it can be, when both work together.  In searching for pictures for this blog, I lacked positive images that men think about women.  All said and done it is really about "This girl loves her husband".  Men your bride needs you to think wonderful positive things about her too.
