Winter

Hi there, Diamond Glamor Girls:

What family traditions do you have? I love the Four Seasons. Living in California you have to really look to see them. People say we don't have the. The truth is just like the lifestyle it's very Suttle. You have to actually look for sign of them. You might even have to actually drive somewhere to experience them.

That's winter for us who live close to the coast in San Diego, We have experience rain, cold winds, temperature dropping however snow? Unheard of.

It's time to get out your calendars an plan that traditional adventure. What days are best this year the guess is yours. We have the local mountains with their delicious pies. Cute small towns where where locals know each other. Almost like a Hallmark movie. Yes these little towns still exist.

Then we have our ski resorts like Mommoth Lakes and Big Bear. We're all winter sports are avaliable. Even winter fishing. Although I confess, I haven't tried all sports I gave  tried enough to know, I don't enjoy ice fishing. I do enjoy many of the other activities. It's to cold sitting waiting to catch a fish. Now skiing down a mountain will keep you nice and warm plus physically fit.

Here a couple places I recommend. However , you know things are subject to change.

Big Bear Lakes

Mammoth

Traditions of Christmas!

Hi there, Diamond Glamour Girls,

The traditions of Christmas. We all have the traditions of Christmas in our homes.  Trees, lights, food, decor. We think our way is the best way disregarding the person next door who has their own traditions.

I like white lights they argue. I like, red and green another adds. There is every color in the rainbow. What is it? The lights, what about truth.

I argued with my neighbor what was truth. Her Jewish roots didn't accept my Christain roots. We argued for years on who was best. What religion had more roots. She had to be the best house, best neighbor, best kids, best cloths,  best children. I backed off it was a turn off. To compete on materialism when the season is so beautiful. I couldn't explain it. Her Jewish roots didn't offend me.

It took years to get off the competition and prayer greater than my own for her to understand it was greater than the things we own. I really loved my neighbor and years of arguing allowed me to have respect for her as a woman in her own home. Then one day in front of my house, I got out of my car and she came out of her house. She came over and asked the usual questions. I finally said, you know Jesus was Jewish there is no question. No battle, no argument. Just acceptance. That year she understood the story of Christmas!

To all those who argue religions. Your missing the spirit of Christmas. He already did this for you!

To all my old neighbors. Merry Christmas!
With love, from Maria

Let's Shop

OMG Girls,

How I enjoy shopping. Not for me personally for my clients. Yesterday, I went shopping to see if there was colors where trending. There are seasons, when colors trend and everyone is doing the same thing. The department stores all sell simular items. I means simular colors.

That has stop now. Which means people are breaking away and doing their own thing. That is how it should be.

Much success to you all. I'm now existed again about meeting and event planning. My clients will be back at creating their own vision vs what's trending. They (we) are able to create their events from a photograph, an item that they purchased on travel and what to recreate the vision for their friends to enjoy. The home decor is back to doing your own thing. However, I do recommend hiring and interior decorator.

What's your favorite color? Let's plan what your favorite event event. You can also listen to Maria Kamon on Anchor http://anchor.fm/Maria-Kamon-MKPDE
