Join #Blogmas2017 with Diamond Glamour Girls

Hi there, Diamond Glamor Girl,

As I search for Blogmas 2017 I have discoverers several list on Pinterests. There plenty of subjects to write about. I have also discovered some rules that I thought were well written.
I'd like mine to be part creative writing experience.  Practice makes one better at the art of writing.

1.  Never Blogmas without telling friends and family.
2. It is more fun if you include your faith, family, friends and know you and them are safe.
3. If you are under age of 18 have your friends and family read your blogs or check your videos before posting.
4. Make sure that you state if your prepresenting a company or business or you are under contractual law. (This should also be verified by your parents.)

If you'd like to read, like to contribute an idea, something specific please make sure you leave me a comment, or tweet @MariaKamon #blogger2017/dgg.

There is only rule I have is that it has to be PG
13 rating if you want me to write about it. Due to the fact I do not allow negative or adult advertising on my blog. This blog is read around the world. I'll be putting together my calendar and will post it after Thanksgiving weekend. Thanks for reading. Let's enjoy this season together.

30 Day Challenge - Day 17 OOTD

Dare To Wear Men's Underware To Work

Hi there Diamond Glamour Girls;

As many of you know bloggers and many meeting and event planners work from home. Home that four letter word that make everything good. For baseball players it's where you score a point. For computers it's a Hub. For Camera work  it's called a viewfinder. We carry home with us in our pockets, purses or hands. That Changes the meaning of home doesn't it. I want to receive money for my work. Don't you? That brings me to the point of this challenge. It's to attract as many advertiser clicks as one can to provide an income to live off of. If you would like to hear a little of what happened listen to https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/maria-kamon-mkpde-podcast/id1254532508 Make sure the music downloads to understand the humor of what she's talking about.

Today, since I work from home. Honestly I'd Wear the same outfit to a meeting just add jewelry and change my shoes.

Today my outfit of the day is.

Black Blouse by Zenana Premium (It's a little big on me, I though it would run small and it ran true to size.)

Short Pants by Liz Claiborne (not tight fitted and are about dress length) At the last place I worked men called my sorts men's underware . Then they Voted to not allow it, putting it in the dress code. Although I have short suits. Matching shorts and blazer. Very comfortable and practical for busy work places when you have to bend over. Like decorating a venue.

Shoe by Blue  Here are some other options they didn't have the ones I am wearing. Blue Shoes

What would I add if I had a meeting;
A blazer and some type of heal shoes. Probably my Patent Leather Sergio Booties. Then a single Diamond necklace, Diamond earrings, Diamond watch maybe a Diamond bracelet, afterall it is the name of my business. It's what people expect. I laugh at how arrogant that sounds. The reality is the challenged asked. Diamonds

Woman in Pink Dress

Hi there,

There are things I love about life and things I hate. The one thing I do enjoy is being a woman! That's the way I was born I love and have always enjoyed every minute of being a feminine female. From head to toe. All the things female I enjoy!

Invite me to lunch, dinner, maybe we should saty out until breakfast. It really doesn't matter I am blessed with knowing who I am and how God made me!  Female! I think the is why I love attending fashions shows when invited. I hope you'll enjoy this one.

The LITTLE Black Dress

Hi there, Diamond Glamour Girls;

This little piece of jewelry would look great with a little black dress. Whether it has short sleeves or long sleeves, maybe it has a full skirt ore a pencil skirt. A little black dress is suppose fit.

What a little black dress does for a woman.

1.  Makes her feel beautiful.
2. Let's her be the woman she is or hopes to be.
3. Let's her be herself.
4. She looks beautiful in it on her best days and worst days.
5. She can wear it with Jewelry or with out. Accessories aren't always what it's about.
6. The point is she can dress it up or dress it down.
7. It's more about simple elegance or classic than hooch mama taste. Not that hoochi mama's can't wear black dresses, it's more like simplistic tastes isn't yelling. "Look at me."

The same thing can be achieved with a black blouse and a pair of black leggings. Make sure the black blouse is not a low next so the necklace has a black background. It gives it a wow factor. One of my favorite looks from work place to evening was a momocramatic black suit. I would take to work with me a pair of dressy shoes sometimes that would be my pop of color, other times it would be my shimmer black shoes depending on what the evening Events where. Light makeup a beautiful lipstick color and a necklace and I have been blessed to attend the fanciest of work Events and get away with it. Saved me a lot of girl drama.

What does your little black dress do for you? Leave a comment below.

Let's Talk Accessories

Hi there, Diamond Glamour Girls;

Here are my top choices for accessories.

1. PURSES: They are whimsical this season. Of course there are still the traditional formal and informal one, however if one thinks out of the box and accessories ones formal gown with a little whimsical touch, you would have a conversation piece for that otherwise awkward moments formality brings.

These two clutch bags are a conversation piece. One can talk about pop of color, food choices, shine, glimmer, glamour

Most of all the laughter that they bring will allow you to free yourself from trying to be that perfect formal date.

2.HAIR ACCESSORIES:
These little hair accessories are a cross between a Bobby pin and a combination. They can be placed all in a row to create a head band or in individual pieces to decorate the updue hairdo.

3. Do you remember friendship bracelet? I think this new take on it will be a hit. It looks like a combination of an ID Bracelet and a Friendship Bracelet. With its cute sayings it can dress up any outfit. Not too dressy, just a touch of gold.

4 Now I think I mentioned this the last blog, the new formal casual. It's formal, the dress is long and can be worn on an evening out with the right jewelry. However, put on sandals, casual jewelry and you have another look. You could even ad a belt to dressy it up.

I hope you enjoy my top 4 pick for this Season.

Fashion Modern Style for Less

Hi there, Diamond Glamour Girls

How fun is this for me. Anyone, that lived through the era of the late 60's early 70's to see the clothing styles return.  Fashion statements have always been a trend. It is so much fun to watch new generations have some of the same things I had had in my youth. What a blessing!

Currently, it is off the shoulder and anklet pants. The off the shoulder blouses were called angle blouses and dresses and the anklet pants were called 3/4 length pants. I have a feeling fashion is going to be big in 2017. Maybe that has to do with Mrs. Trump being in the white house. She has a scenes of fashion that reminds reporters of the Jackie and Bobby era, which I personally loved. I remember I became a DYI young lady. Reality, I was much younger than that. My era if you were female you were always consider a young lady.  I learned to sew and learned how to create fashion for less. It was a battle my mother and I always had. Who was better seamstress. I became very good at sewing a straight line and sewing buttons in. If I could save the money for the fabric then I could use her sewing machine. I started learning how to sew very young with my barbie dolls. I would draw them and she slowly started teaching me how to sew them. I would take my paints, crayons and paper and design fabric, draw dresses and as I grew older tried to make the patterns to sew the cloths. The better I got at it the more competition I had from my mother and others.  It is always a love / hate relationship of who is right? Her fashion, was not mine, her people where mot my people, however we can learn many things from the generations before use as well as the generations after us. Either way it lead me to taking classes and then entering college to study and learn what I could. That's when I discovered how competitive the field is and decided on teaching instead. That's enough about me. What I want to encourage all the Diamond Glamour Girls out there is to do great things with their lives. Whatever, you love doing do it with the best you you can do. I have to be honest and tell you I have a great love for fashion and what you can do with one piece to create many.

Get your fashion books, sketch books, drawing pencils,  and start designing...The Camelot Years of fashion our back and lets watch it develop together. I say this because of all the comparisons of Mr. and Mrs. Trump to the Kennedy's. Although my belief is a little different. Melanie Trump was just a baby then, so it's not a baby thing its a real time, real world thing. I laugh with those that want to stay in an era and not change and I covet those of you who are born and this time with all the new things/ tools, technology and equipment to use in your new lives and career choices. Many new careers will open this year as this first lady expresses herself through fashion. I am excited about what she will do, I believe not like newscasters that she has more to offer than just good lucks and fashion. I believe she will not only make the United States of America proud of her role as the first lady, she will also make woman proud to be a young lady, woman.

 This blouse was called spaghetti straps I'm not sure what they call it today, however I do know for the DYI (Do It Yourself) Girl...you can sew it up in less than a day..several hours.  The challenge is there for you to take.
 For the mom's who still want fashion off thee shoulders however still want their children to find them dignified, respectable when in public you can always throw on a little cover up like this one.
 The 3/4 pants or anklets are best left to the young woman who can show off that pretty little piece of them. How fun it is to be young and fashion thought worthy.
 The off the shoulder, not. well kind of. It represents the willing to show a little shoulder, however not willing to be off the shoulders.
Here is a simple off the shoulders blouse with that would take maybe an hour to sew. Planned correctly it could look as glamours as you'd like.

Don't want to be spend thee money on trendy clothing? Then I found a cute store that will help you purchase the clothing for less. The name of it is Styles for Less, the fashion is trendy and will last for a season, for those on a budget or just want cloths for a season for the trend.

KISS (Keep It Simple Sister) The working Women and Fashion

One of the things most women have in common is fashion.  We love cloths, not for the reason one might think.  Things seem like one thing when they are another.  Today’s women have to be smarter than the other generations before them, so we think…  The truth is women are supposed to mentor one another.  Men are taught to go for things at all cost, but women are taught compassion, understanding, and wisdom.  Now what role does this play in the workplace?
I was reading the “In Style” the other day when I realized some things do not change throughout time.  Women love being respected for their work.  Cloths have a say in the perception of what we are trying to say.  In my younger years I loved color bright and beautiful.  Men confuse color with women wanting attention.  Don’t ask me why it just was, they think if we dress a certain way we are that.  As I matured in the workplace I realized being noticed by the color I was wearing was not the best thing for my career.  I wanted respect for the work I did, not the colors I was wearing.

This year Ann Taylor Fall 2012, has my favorite all time way of dressing.  My favorite way to dress is black and white with a pop of color.  I always found this way of dressing allowed me to go from work place to an evening meeting with will change.  It also got me respect.  Women respect one another in the workplace when one is trying to do the best work possible.  Competition is what it is, but respect comes from hard work, focusing on the things that matter most for the corporation you are working for and having your personal priorities in place.  Women supporting one another in the workplace is very important, earn the respect of your pears and you may earn the respect of person who is your supervisor.  The funny thing is there is a balance there.  Earning the respect of the pears cannot supersede your goals.  If the pear is disrespecting you then you have to call them on it.  I truly believe that when you call them on it, does it face to face and in privacy.  If it doesn’t stop then take to the supervisor.  Stand up for yourself but do it in a way you will still respect yourself.  In life, if you are battling for something you want and loose self respect, it’s not worth it.

That’s, my bit of advice…back to fashion.  Ann Taylor, this year’s collection is about sophistication and KISS mentality, Keep It Simple Sister!  She has designed collection that allows women to show off their s lines without being recycled, without being this thing….men want.   We are women with power and her collection lets other know it, without shouting it!  It is a quiet confidence.  It is here I am, I know what I am doing, and I do it to the best of my ability.  Ann Taylor collection this year has it all pearls, ribbons; scarf’s, shoes flats or heels.  It’s a business suit during the day and evening attire during the night.  The Hughes is rich, deep with wealth, richness and comfort.

Fall 2011’s Most Wearable Trends

by Susan Cernek

Fall 2011 Fashion Week—or, as they say in the biz, Fashion Month, if you include the London, Milan and Paris shows!—isn’t yet over, but we can already spot more than a dozen new fall trends that we can’t wait to wear. Here, the most stylish—and least scary!—of the bunch:

As I was looking up formal fashion wear for this article I came across the above website, that expresses the fashion trends in London, Milan, Paris, the three top fashion places in the world. The exciting part is that it is exciting to look at these fashion. One can not only be admire the creativity of the fashion, but this year you a can actually imagine yourself wearing it, not like other years that the fashion trends of Europe does not apply to Californian's.

If you were to purchase one of these dresses, which one would you purchase. My favorite always for mature women is the black formal wear. However, there are so many youthful, glamorous fashion. I love the fact that this years collection can go from workplace to evening by changing the accessories, like little coats, jackets, shoes, or jewelry. Think of yourself in the fashion and then add your personality.

For example, the little black dress can be worn with diamonds or pearls. It is all shine. If you put little red shoes it changes the whole thing. Or you can wear black stockings and shoes and you will have a monochromatic look. Either way this dress is totally glamorous! Now if you look at the white and black dress, how cute is that! I can actually imagine a young professional wearing this to work. Take off the petticoat (funny that is what we use to call it) put on a short jacket and it is work ready. The young professional who has an evening event can add the petticoat, formal heals, take off the little black jacket, put on a cute hat as she has an your ready to be the queen of the evening event. All formal is not length, it has allot to do with how you conduct yourself in public. Business evening meetings can require the professional women to think about not only her image but also her reputation. Somethings never change. One of the biggest things that you want to have to succeed is your reputation! Guard this. This dress does that. It lets the people know "I am in control". I know what I am doing as a professional and a successful woman, doesn't let her emotions show in public. This dress has that flare about it that says "Look but don't touch! Respect me!" It is the power we have in business and in life. Ladies empower yourself, cause you want to make money. Education will open the door but image, reputation and the manner in which you conduct yourself will help you stay employed.

Research who you want to be, makeup you mind to become this and my favorite saying is just do it! These fashions for Paris, Milan and London are totally do able for a reasonable price.
