Want Money for Blogging?

Hi there,

I often get asked how image my money. What money I ask?  I am trying to re-enter after working for a hotel and receiving the betting of a lifetime. Long hours low pay, constant demands and complaints of guest. What do you mean you might ask.. I discovered that the meeting and event planning industry and the hotel industry haven't opposing viewpoints on meetings, events and wedding. It helped me in redefining my business.

MK Pure Diamond Events plans more towards marketing and PR then it does the hospitality industry. The hotel industry leans towards more of the hospitality industry and not so much on the Marketing and PR of the meeting, wedding, event. While I was working there all these different times and hours I rediscovered the enjoyment I feel when I write a blog that not only brings information. Customer empowerment. What is a good product what isn't.

Woman Who Work

 Hi there,

 What an great thing this woman is doing to change the world for woman. Throughout history there has been changes that affect woman. At war time were the first changes. When woman stepped out of the home place and into the workplace.

Then again in the 60's when women tried empowering each other. Flowers power, peace love and the war that no one named a war ended.

Today, we have a young woman who is willing to talk about the executive live and how being a mom is worth learning to control your day.  This book is worth reading. You have to understand what it is like to be an executive woman and how to be empowered by change.

She is willing to help us learn how to do that and I am willing to learn. I don't have to be stuck in the past when I can be Empowerment by Today's Woman.

Flag Day What Does It Mean To You?

Hi there, Diamond Glamour Girls,

Have you ever thought about the flag of the United States of America?  Is is important to you? That holiday we call "Flag Day". What does it really mean to you? Most Americans, think very little of our flag on a daily bases. Here I am after my home was affected thinking about the flag our men and women fight for. To this day they still fight for this flag and all that it means.

Last night, one of our military that was impressed in a jail in Mexico was sent back to the United States. What rights do you have? Are you willing to give them up? Your home would you give that up? How about your car? Your children? Better yet your money would you give that up? The right to earn a living? These men and woman give some of these things up. They leave their homes, their cars, their families, and some even their paychecks why? To serve a country with a flag more powerful than all other countries. It use to be we were raised with a sense of duty and responsibility. We use to write to our POW's and seal their letters with a kiss. S.W.A. K.

Apple phones have this cute little app a letter with a kiss on it. I think to myself how many people today know what that means? It was a meaning symbolic of affection, love and a way of saying Thank You to those POW's of the "Viet Nam" war. They were are modern day heros. We didn't have to agree with the war they were fighting. We had to respect them because they were fighting a war, we were unable or unwilling to do. We were children! Innocent and a heart represented a KISS. Not lips. Not lipstick. Naive I hope so. I hope and pray every child is naive when it comes to things of war and they grow up feeling safe. Knowing we have people who fight for our country. Today's soldier should of had every government funded school, every christian school writing them letters, S.W.A.K. Shout! Thank You!

How many of our children today grow up making the United States Flag and learning what the stars and stripes mean. Why it is so important? This may be my personal agenda. Maybe, because I had a dad that served in the military, a grandfather that served in the military, his father before him and married a husband that served in the military. Maybe it is I am a teacher and miss teaching. I think these things played a part in my life, what played a larger part was knowing what the stars and stripes mean and in learning this I learned the importance of these men/woman serving. In learning what the flag means I learned our country faith, our ability to defend, our rights, how carefully our forefathers choose the design. I learned why other nations choose their design, their believes, their faith, what God they pray to and how they choose the design. The meaning of symbolism and how to stand firm in what I believe.

 That is still not why it is important. It is important, to know those who walked before us and what they fought for. What meant so much that they would give up their live for this cause, for me a citizen in this United States of America. Could it be that our forefathers worshiped the only true God? That is why we are blessed. (John 17:3)

This Flag Day talk to your child about what it means. Many San Diegans lost their homes to fire this year, who came in to help them fight..."American Hero's" from fighter fighters, to military to the person next door. It doesn't get much better than that on earth.

Thanksgiving (Help 7 People and the Economy by sending one Holiday Card)

Hi there, Diamond Glamour Girls;

I had some time today to start putting my Christmas Card list together. Writing them out. It is a rainy day in San Diego, and I don't really feel like going out or working on my business. So I start that list of Christmas things we all hate to do. You know the things that you wonder if people cared about or if only you do? The first was and always is to begin writing my cards. Throughout the years I have sent cards, letters,  post cards, emails, e-cards and last year I event sent text messages. I have to confess, last year was a low point as I think of the importance of the Holiday Season and how special the season is.  It doesn't matter if you spend the season alone or with family and friends the meaning of the season is still as important yesterday, today and tomorrow.

To get me in the mood I decided to write about what matters most to me. It all begins the seasons with Thanksgiving. No matter what you celebrate the season begins with Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is defined in the following way:

Gratitude is the state of being grateful: thankfulness

I learned as a child to walk and think always of the things I am thankful for. The past few years have been rather sad for me on the personal front, therefore when I don't have the words to express our thankfulness I look to others to express it for me.

This year with the technology being so fast, I decided to look up works of others. Here goes. It is a way I feel I, and maybe all of us should feel, but most of us, being the humans that we are we take those around us for  take for granted. 

To really give thanks to what I am thankful for

For my family, my health, a nice soft bed

My friends, my freedom, a roof over my head

I'm thankful right now to be surrounded by these

Whose lives touch memory than they'll ever possibly know

Thankful Lord, that You've blessed me beyond measure

Thankful that in my heart lives life's greatest treasure

Thank you dear Jesus, reside in place

And I am ever so grateful for understand grace

So please heavenly Father, bless this food You've provided

And bless each and every person invited.

Consider sending someone you know a hand written note, or a holiday card.  Let them know that they were important enough for you to take the time to write them.  It will create more employment for humans like you and me.  I know that many are employeed in technology but there are many more people who need employment as also.  One card, gives employment to the preson who creates the paper, the person who thought of the peom or saying, the person who type set it or typed it into the computer, the person who purchased the card, the person who created the stamp, the postal worker who delivered it.  In purchasing one card you have employeed, the person who inspired you to purchase the card and bless someone by doing so.  You have just employeed 7 people.  Congratulations!  You have just help 7 people.  Blessings!
