Cistern

As you know I am a believer. A woman who believes in prayer. Some women find their hope in the word of God, other in the ways they have created. One thing I do know as woman, as humans we all have a Cistern. We all have a place where the water flows. For some it's a River, for other an Ocean. For me one of the most beautiful places in San Diego is where the River meets the Ocean and they merge into perfection. Isn't the human body made of mainly water? "Our perfect moments in life are those moments when water flows in the beauty of God's perfection."

Events are filled with those we choose to share the moment and time with. Sometimes it's family and blood relations, sometimes it is friends, work relations, and for women of prayer it is sometimes filled with moments we don't understand but we know we are called to prayer.

One of the things I have discovered is as I matured as a women my prayer life turns more to those I have raised. I have raised many women's children. Prayerfully that is. My children had their friends. We all prayed together. The power of prayer is a wonderful thing. Now my prayer continues for these children that are fully grown and the events in their lives. My prayer that they continue in a righteous path with a prayerful life.

Who when I get old will have some authority over me. This to is a right of passage. Mother's of son's pray for wisdom, maturity, kindness, love, understanding, compassion, that they have a steady income, employment, we pray for their future family's. Most of all that they find a wife that will help mate, their friend, their love for it takes a women of understanding to help a man them become the man God created. Old school, right? What use to be old fashion is now filled with things our children want.

Each generation wants to change the world. The 60's had woodstock, 70's had disco, 80's had Madonna, 90's had Y2K (all electronic) now we are in the 2000 is know for change currently we are in 2010 (pronounced twenty-ten era) what will these events bring into the lives of our loved ones. For us baby-boomers we are in the middle of two world, our children and our aging parents. No other generations has spent so much time torn between three generation. The generation of our parents, the generation of our children and the generation we grew up in.

I am a strong believer of prayerful women. We are not only thinking of our sons but also the women they will marry. It will change us and our children forever.
Mothers of daughters pray for different things. I have been blessed to pray with these mom's and they pray for wisdom, understanding, kindness, authority over their own being, power to say NO to temptation, for the right to become a mom, if they are getting married for the strength to endure all the things that will come their way. We really never know what God will bring. We never really know all of the prayer of a moms in our lives. We as women do know that during our teens they can do no right. Later in life, they can do no wrong not because they are perfect, we understand what their prayer has kept us from. We just trust in The Lord thank him daily, hope for the best and trust him when we don't get it.

Now some of you reading this may not agree. We are not all prayerful women. We are not always in "His" perfection. We are however all a "Cristen". Sometimes events happen that are not our prayers, (maybe they were someone else's), sometimes we get hurt, sometimes we get blessed. Whatever happens in life we each have a cistern and if each person stayed in their own then it would be a perfect world, wouldn't it be? My best advice to those who know "Him" is to love "Him". It will all work out according to "His" will for your life.

And when you are looking for someone to plan organize your event or wedding fill out the appointment contact form for your free consultation. It will be your moment of perfection.
